Family Fare is seeking a Store Operator to operate a progressive Family Fare Convenience Store. Must have the ability to hire and work a retail sales force in order to successfully operate the store. This is a terrific opportunity for career minded individuals. Must have a minimum investment of $8,000 to get started. We have stores in Durham, Greensboro, Winston-Salem, Fayetteville, Burlington, Raleigh, Chapel Hill, High Point, Hillsborough, Newton Grove, Butner, New Bern, Elizabeth City, Dunn, Weldon, Williamston, Wilmington, Shallotte, Graham, Reidsville and Creedmoor North Carolina.
Required Education Level: High School or equivalent
Compensation: $35,000.00 - $65,000.00 / per year. Actual compensation will be based on performance.
Location: Family Fare has stores throughout North Carolina.

Customer Service Ambassador

Nature of Position:
The delivery of fast, friendly, profitable customer service in a safe and clean site that consistently provides superior customer satisfaction and serves the long-term interests of our business through established principles, proper procedures, and sound business judgment.
Primary Duties:
The Customer Service Ambassador will demonstrate a high degree of proficiency and consistency in each of the following performance areas: Customer Responsiveness, Technical Skills, Team Player, Personal Effectiveness, Understanding the Business, and Leadership. The Customer Service Ambassador must be highly adaptive and must be able to manage change. The Customer Service Ambassador must also be supportive of their employer’s programs and policies and project that support to co-workers. Successfully achieving the objectives of the position requires the effective execution of customer responsiveness and technical skills.
Education and Experience Requirements:
High School diploma or equivalent experience; strong interpersonal skills. Must have satisfactorily completed continuing education and certification requirements.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and carry cases of merchandise up to an approximate weight of 25 pounds.
- Stand for periods up to eight hours
- Perform maintenance duties as necessary, i.e., cleaning windows, mopping floors, painting, cleaning the lot, cleaning restroom facilities, etc.
- Operate all store equipment including cash register, adding machine, telephone, lottery machines, coffee machines, and fountain equipment.
- Read, write, and speak effective English.
- Must have ability to communicate effectively with customers and co-workers.
Other Requirements:
- Maintain a valid driver’s license and good driving record.
- Be prepared to comply with employer’s practices and policies.
